SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A man seen on camera breaking into a freezer at a Snohomish restaurant was arrested five minutes after officers were dispatched, according to the Snohomish Police Department.
Officers were called to the Blazing Onion for a burglary in progress at 7:13 a.m. Saturday. Deputies arrived, and within minutes found the man as he was trying to leave the Snohomish Station on a bicycle.
Police said he was immediately identified as being the same person who was seen on camera at the restaurant two days before.
Photos from the scene showed the man had taken large bags of potato chips and cheese puffs, along with two large tubs of possible ice cream and a box of frozen food.
The 31-year-old was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
