SEATTLE — Seattle fire crews rescued a man from Elliot Bay on Friday evening.
The 34-year-old man was pulled out of the water near the 1300 block of Alaskan Way, according to fire officials.
Officials said the man was clinging to a buoy when crews on a fireboat got to him. The temperature of the water was in the 40s at the time of the rescue.
The man was in stable condition and taken to Harborview Medical Center, officials said.
It is not exactly clear what led to the incident, but officials said it appears the man jumped into the water.
