Police investigate homicide after man dies from injuries in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are now investigating a homicide after a man died after he was injured at a bar earlier this month.

On April 10, medics responded to a report of a medical aid call from a bar in the 4000 block of McKinley Avenue for a man who was injured, investigators said.

The 64-year-old man was taken to an area hospital.

On April 12, the man died from his injuries at the hospital.

Police said the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death as a homicide.
