The home is considered a total loss.

“I don’t know what to do now,” said Anuncia Iglecias, who lives in the home. She and the other people who live there escaped, but part of her family is still missing.

“I can't stand to hear the news about the dogs,” she said

Iglecias said smoke detectors alerted her family to the fast-moving fire.

“It happened so fast, the flames just burst into the laundry room, and then I just - walked through - got out the backyard and then we climbed over the fence,” she said.

But then she and her husband heard their son calling out.

“He was yelling for his dog, Sam,” Iglecias said. She said Sam is a Doberman.

Video from neighbors shows the house burning  and the flames quickly spreading.

“I was worried, I was worried,” Grigoryak said.

Iglecias says her husband ran back into the house while it was on fire and managed to save one dog still inside – a blind puppy named “Little Boy” by throwing him out a window.

But Iglecias said he couldn’t get to their other two dogs still inside.

“He almost didn't make it because the smoke was already coming up out the windows from the second floor. He almost didn't want to jump out, but I think he was already feeling the heat. So he had no choice,” Iglecias said.

He got hurt in the fall and was rushed to Harborview. Another family member, Iglecias’ nephew, burned his hand while trying to save a car from the garage. Both of the injured men are expected to be OK.

The fire started in the garage. The cause is still under investigation.
