Man found bleeding on porch in Tacoma dies from injuries

TACOMA, Wash. — Detectives and forensic specialists are working to determine what led to the death of a man who was found bleeding on the front porch of a Tacoma home Wednesday night.

On Wednesday at 10:10 p.m., South Sound 911 received reports of an injured man knocking on the front door of a house in the 5900 block of N. 9th St.

Officers arrived and found a man on the front porch who was bleeding heavily.

Officers started giving the man medical aid until medics arrived.

The 21-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.

The cause of his death is not yet known.
