Man fatally shot in Seattle’s Central District

SEATTLE — A man was killed in an early morning shooting Wednesday in Seattle’s Central District.

At 1:03 a.m., callers to 911 reported hearing shots fired near the 300 block of 23rd Avenue South.

Responding officers found a man on the ground in a parking lot who had several gunshot wounds.

Officers gave the man first aid until Seattle Fire Department Medics arrived.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
