Man arrested in connection with fatal shooting at Seattle bus stop

SEATTLE — A 41-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night at a Seattle bus stop. 

Police said they found the suspect downtown and also recovered a gun.

The victim was killed around 10 p.m. at a bus stop located at North 46th Street and Aurora Avenue North. 

Witnesses said the victim was in an argument with another man when he was shot. The gunman fled on foot. 

When police arrived, they found the victim unresponsive on the sidewalk. Medics were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A K-9 team was deployed for the initial search.

The suspected shooter has been booked into the King County Jail as the investigation continues.
