Man dies from injuries after stabbing near Fred Meyer in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A man has died from his injuries after being stabbed near a Fred Meyer in Lynnwood on Sunday, police said.

Before noon, officers responded to a report of a man with stab wounds near the entrance of the store, located at 4615 196th St. SW.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his early 60s, with critical injuries. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he later died.

According to police, witnesses reported that the victim was in a verbal argument with a group when one of them stabbed him.

The suspects drove away from the scene in a silver sedan before officers arrived.
