• Man creeping into homes to watch women sleep


    SHELTON, Wash. - Police in Mason County are searching for a man who's sneaking into homes to watch people sleep.

    The first incident happened about two weeks ago in Shelton on Laurel Street.

    A woman says she woke up at about 4:30 a.m. to find the suspect trying to take her sock off.

    He left through an unlocked sliding glass door.

    Then on Thursday morning, a woman on West Alder Street in Shelton said she woke up to see a man standing in the doorway to her bedroom.

    Police say both women gave a similar description of a white man, about 6 feet tall, with short, shaggy dark hair.

    The man entered both homes through unlocked doors.

    Anyone with information about the suspect or the incidents is asked to contact Shelton Police Detective Moran at 360- 432-5184.
