Man choked unconscious after asking dog owner to pick up poop

BELLEVUE, Wash. — A man was choked unconscious in Bellevue on Sept. 10 after arguing with his mother’s boyfriend because the boyfriend refused to pick up his dog’s poop, according to the Bellevue Police beat blog.

Around 1:30 p.m. at 15500 block Southeast 5th Court, the boyfriend charged the victim, and they began to fight.

The boyfriend overpowered the victim, put him in a chokehold and held him until the victim passed out.

When officers arrived with Bellevue Fire, the victim regained consciousness and the boyfriend was arrested and booked into jail.
