BREMERTON, Wash. — The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect who allegedly assaulted a 71-year-old man on Sunday.
The 71-year-old man said he was punched and kicked.
The KCSO said the assault happened at the Illahee Preserve.
The sheriff’s office released photos of the suspect on Twitter.
About 8 hours later, KCSO tweeted that the suspect was in custody.
“Thanks to tips from the public this man has been arrested on suspicion of assault. We appreciate your help solving this case!” the tweet said.
