During the pursuit, deputies said the driver went through the backyard of a home and ran.
The K-9, Jaxx, was called to the scene and helped locate the driver.
Deputies said multiple warnings were given to the driver, but he refused to give up.
“The suspect continued to resist Jaxx and deputies but was eventually taken into custody,” a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a news release.
