K-9 captures fleeing robbery suspect in Bremerton

BREMERTON, Wash. — A Kitsap County K-9 and his deputy handler caught a suspect who was fleeing in East Bremerton.

Police said that early Sunday, the 27-year-old suspect violated a no contact order.  As the victim called 911, the man ran away.

K-9 Blue and his handler, Deputy N. Williams, came to the scene and during a search, found the man hiding in some bushes near a church playground.

The man was booked on a $50,000 first-degree robbery warrant and investigation of violating a no contact order.
