Industries that remain in demand even during a recession

SEATTLE — Wall Street Bank is predicting another recession within the next 12 months.

Knowing another recession could be right around the corner, many are thinking about their finances and perhaps questioning their job security.

While no job or employee is completely safe from changes in the economy, there are some industries that are in higher demand, even in a recession.

Jobs in healthcare and government are always in demand. We consulted with a financial expert who specializes in retirement planning who said, for example, a client of hers left a marketing job for a tech company and joined a marketing team in healthcare.

The move created more stability and still utilized her skillset.
