Huskies’ tight end Hunter Bryant declares for 2020 NFL Draft

SEATTLE — University of Washington tight end Hunter Bryant announced Friday that he plans to enter for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Bryant shared the news on his Twitter account. Watch the full video below.

"I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me out along the way especially my family, my coaches, my teammates, but most importantly the fans of Husky Nation," Bryant said.

Bryant leads the Huskies with 825 receiving yards on 52 catches this season.

The 6 foot, 2 inch, 239 pound junior signed with the University of Washington after playing for Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish.

In 26 career games, Bryant recorded 85 catches for 1,394 yards and five touchdowns.

The Huskies finished the regular season with a 7-5 record after beating Washington State University 31-13 in the Apple Cup and are expected to accept a bowl invitation this weekend.

Other tight ends on the Huskies' roster include: Cade Otton, Jacob Kizer, Devin Culp, Corey Luciano, Carson Smith, Zeke Pelluer and Jack Westover.

The 2020 NFL Draft will be held from April 23 to April 25 near Las Vegas.
