SEATTLE — Football fans from across the state will converge on Montlake on Friday for the 112th Apple Cup and the rivalry between the University of Washington Huskies and the Washington State University Cougars.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Husky Stadium in Seattle. KIRO 7's Chris Francis will be there and you can follow along with his game day reactions here.
UW and WSU are coming in with identical records - 6-5 overall and 3-5 in the Pac 12. The Cougars are looking to snap a six-year losing streak, as the Huskies haven't lost since 20212.
The Huskies won last year 28-15.
Win or lose, both teams are eligible for a bowl game sometime in December.
