RENTON, Wash. — The Seattle Seahawks will begin training camp July 25 and will open 12 practices to fans, the team announced Monday.
Eleven of the open practices will be held at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton and one will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
Those interested in attending the open practices must register through the team's website here. Registration will open Thursday on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans 15 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
The team said the special practice at Pop Keeney Stadium will feature performances by the Seahawks Dancers and Blue Thunder, along with activities for fans and photo opportunities with mascots.
The final open practice will be held on Aug. 14 and will be open only for season ticket holders who register on a first-come, first-served basis.
“A $10 transportation fee will be charged per person, as fans will be required to park off-site and be shuttled to VMAC before each practice. A $10 event-related fee will also apply for the practice at Pop Keeney Stadium,” the team wrote in a news release.
The team said parking information for the practice at Pop Keeney Stadium will be made available before training camp starts.
For the open practices at the VMAC, guests will need to check-in at the Seahawks Pro Shop at the Landing Shopping Center in Renton – located at 840 N. 10th Place. Check-in begins 90 minutes before the start of practice and will close 45 minutes after practice starts.
“Later this summer as dates approach, practice times, parking locations, maps and additional information, including items permitted at Seahawks Training Camp, will be available in the Training Camp section on the Seahawks Mobile App or the registration page for your selected camp date,” the team said.
