Deputies investigating after 23-year-old woman killed near Arlington

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies are investigating after a 23-year-old woman was killed Friday in Snohomish County.

According to deputies, a friend reported that his 25-year-old friend from Kirkland killed his girlfriend.

Officers were called to the 400 block of 200th Street Northwest near Arlington.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the body of a woman.

The suspect was contacted by Kirkland police after 9:30 a.m. and was taken into custody after turning himself in.

Detectives said it was a case of domestic violence and have not said how the woman was killed.

The investigation remains ongoing.
