LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A homicide investigation is underway in Lakewood after a woman was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle Sunday night.
Police said that before 7:30 p.m., people called 911 and reported hearing a vehicle crash and gunshots in the area of the 6100 block of 112th Street Southwest.
When officers arrived, they found a woman dead inside a vehicle.
Police said it is not clear if there was another vehicle involved or what occurred, except that a woman had been shot and a crash had happened.
The investigation is ongoing.
