Homeowner assaulted, vehicles stolen from house in Marysville

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Marysville police are investigating after a homeowner was assaulted and two vehicles were stolen from a house in the Sunnyside neighborhood.

Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. Nov. 27 to the house. The 911 caller reported interrupting a burglary of his residence.

When the homeowner confronted the suspect, the man was assaulted, according to a release from the department.

One of the suspects also fired a gun and used the gun to strike the victim, police said.

The 69-year-old man was treated for his injuries at the scene.

Two cars were also stolen from the home. One of the cars was found nearby. The other car is still outstanding along with several items stolen from the house, police said.

The missing car is a burgundy colored 2007 Ford Econoline window van with a Washington license plate, number C94306D. The car has tinted windows and custom black and silver wheels.

The department said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous and asked that if you see the stolen vehicle, call 911.
