SEATTLE — Those who visit Seattle’s waterfront on Mother’s Day will be able to enjoy up to four hours of free garage parking.

Thanks to DowntownSeattleParking.com, people can park for free from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following garages: Hillclimb Garage, Watermark Tower Garage, Western & Seneca Lot, and Pike Place Market Garage.

Parking attendants will be available along the waterfront to help drivers find the garages.

No purchase is necessary, but drivers will have to pick up their free parking voucher from one of the following waterfront businesses:

Argosy Cruises, Elliott’s Oyster House, Frankly Sweets, Harley Davidson, Ivar’s Acres of Clams, Ivar’s Pier 54 Fish Bar, Kidd Valley, Let’s Go Sailing, Pirates Plunder, Premier Meat Pies - Pier 54, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Great Wheel, Seattle Shirt Company - Pier 55, Simply Seattle - Pier 54, The Alaskan Sourdough Bakery, The Crab Pot, The Fisherman’s Restaurant, The Frankfurter, The Salmon Cooker, The Seattle Shop, Wings over Washington and Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.

Drivers are asked to present their voucher when exiting the garage.

A special voucher will be made available for those attending Argosy’s Mother’s Day Blake Island Brunch Cruise, which runs for more than four hours.

“Mother’s Day is one of the best days of the year to enjoy the waterfront and this free parking makes it even easier for people to come down and have a great time,” said Ivar’s President Bob Donegan.

“Viaduct demolition has limited the amount of parking on the streets, so park for free in one of the nearby garages.”
