Firefighters respond to early morning home fire in Silverdale

SILVERDALE, Wash. — Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue responded to a call of a house on fire in Silverdale on Friday morning, according to a spokesperson for the fire department.

An alarm monitoring company called 911 at 8:34 a.m. to report a fire at a home in the 8400 block of Town Summit Place Northwest.

The home was called, but there was no answer.

When Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue arrived, they confirmed the two-story, single-family home was on fire.

A search was conducted to determine if any residents were trapped inside.

Crews had the fire under control at 9:06 a.m.

There were no reported injuries, and the homeowner was eventually contacted.

Investigators are working to identify the cause of the fire.
