Federal Way family is heartsick and pleading for the return of their two puppies stolen last week

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Federal Way family is heartsick and pleading for the return of their two puppies stolen last week.

For the past week, Zoranna and John Gueco have been working around the clock to bring their puppies home.

“They’re our children. They’re not just pets to us,” said Zoranna Gueco.

The two purebred American Bullies were stolen last Tuesday afternoon after they, somehow, escaped their home in the Redondo Beach area.

Koba is a fawn-colored male, while his sister KoKo is black with white paws. They’re both just 14 weeks old.

Their brother Harambe also escaped but was returned thanks to social media. Since then, more witnesses have also come forward with information. And they think the animals may have been resold in the South Seattle area, which is why the Guecos have posted hundreds of flyers from there to Federal Way.

Federal Way police said they are actively conducting an investigation. On Monday, police even stopped by to update them on the case.

The Guecos won’t rest until their pups are back.

“Life hasn’t been the same without them this whole time, and we just really miss them,” said John Gueco.

The Guecos have raised the dogs since birth and planned to show them. The dogs are worth up to $10,000 each. But it’s not about the money.

“It’s unfortunate that they’re in someone else’s hands, and we don’t know if they’re being cared for, fed, if being watered. I don’t know what kind of hands they’re in,” added Zoranna Gueco.

Koba and KoKo are both microchipped.

Zoranna and John Gueco are simply hoping someone will do the right thing.

“We brought them into the world, and we want the provide the life they deserve. Not knowing who has them or what situation they’re in is devastating to us,” said John Gueco.

The Guecos said they are offering a reward for information leading to the dogs' return.
