FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A Federal Way family is pleading for the return of their puppies.
They say their two valuable dogs were stolen last week.
The 14-week-old puppies are purebred American Bullies, worth about $10,000 each.
The family says Koba and Koko were stolen last Tuesday after the dogs escaped from their home in the Redondo Beach area.
The Gueco family raised the dogs since birth and planned to show them, but said it’s not about the money.
“Life hasn’t been the same without them this whole time and we just really miss them,” said John Gueco.
Their brother Harambe also escaped but was returned, thanks to social media.
"It’s unfortunate that they’re in someone else’s hands and we don’t know if they’re being cared for, fed, if they’re being watered. I don’t know what kind of hands they’re in, said Zoranna Gueco.
Koba is a fawn-colored male. Koko is black with white paws. Both are microchipped.
Some witnesses believe the puppies may have been resold in the South Seattle area.
Federal Way police are investigating.
