EDMONDS, Wash. — Edmonds police are warning people about two curbside COVID-19 tests that were identified as scams.
According to a tweet the agency posted, the two sites appeared in the downtown area on Tuesday.
“We encourage all community members to only provide personal and insurance information to your trusted healthcare provider,” the tweet read.
Police will continue to investigate.
Last week, King County officials warned people to avoid “unusual COVID-19 setups.” There were reports of portable testing operations at several Seattle parks.
