Man armed with knife fatally shot by deputy in Graham

GRAHAM, Wash. — A man is dead after he was shot by a Pierce County deputy in Graham.

Deputies were called to a domestic violence incident between a father and his adult son at the Meridian Terrace Mobile Home Park near 194th and Meridian at 10:54 p.m. Monday.

The caller told dispatchers the son was armed with a .22-caliber pistol and was waving it around outside. The caller said the gun had been taken away from him and hidden, but the son was going in and out of the trailer repeatedly looking for it.
