Developmentally challenged woman missing out of Federal Way found safe

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — UPDATE: The Federal Way Police Department says Tabatha Lawler has been found safe.

A 26-year-old woman who is developmentally challenged has been reported missing by a family member.

Police say it appears Tabatha Lawler walked away from her Federal Way home in the 5300 block of Dash Pt. Rd. SW without any notice. She was reported missing around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Lawler functions at a level equivalent to a 10-year-old.

She is described as white, 5-feet-1-inch tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. It is not known what clothing she was wearing at the time she left.

Anyone who sees Lawler is asked to contact Federal Way police.
