DES MOINES, Wash. — Officers with the Des Moines Police Department returned a stolen wheelchair to a 6-year-old boy Tuesday.
Police said the boy’s wheelchair, valued at $9,000, was in his mom’s car when it was stolen.
Officers recovered the wheelchair after it was dumped and returned it to the boy.
After recovering this wheelchair, we were able to return it to 6 year old Angel. His $9k chair was in moms stolen car and was dumped. Angel had to go to school today in a stroller! We’re so happy for Angel. BTW, Officer Clayson Tanner is new! DL pic.twitter.com/HrB8RyfDtV
