PARKLAND, Wash. — Update: Pierce County deputies reported after 7 p.m. that the siblings, thought to have run away, have returned home and are safe.
Original story: The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is asking people to be on the lookout for a young brother and sister who are missing.
Jarseline Lemus-Zuniga, 12, and her brother Pedro, 10, are believed to have run away from home early Thursday.
Deputies are searching the area of 104th and Pacific Avenue in Parkland.
Jarseline was last seen wearing a purple hooded onesie and a flower backpack.
Anyone who may have seen them is asked to contact the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
