• Deputies: 17-year-old girl injured in Skyway drive-by shooting

    Deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting Monday night in Skyway. 

    The shooting happened at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and 60th Avenue South. 

    Deputies said two girls were walking when a beige four-door sedan drove by slowly and someone inside the vehicle started shooting.

    One of girls, who is 17 years old, was struck in the thigh. She's in stable condition. 

    Deputies are searching for a suspect.
