Deputies: Arlington man killed in altercation

ARLINGTON, Wash. — A death investigation is underway after deputies found a man dead Wednesday night in Arlington.

Deputies were called at around 7 p.m. Wednesday to the 19900 block of 127th Avenue Northeast, where there were reports of a domestic violence incident with use of a weapon.

When deputies arrived, they found a 51-year-old man with a wound on his neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man was located in the 20800 block of 127th Avenue Northeast and taken into custody.

According to investigators, there was an altercation outside the home involving the victim, suspect and a 21-year-old woman.

Deputies said the altercation turned physical and the suspect struck the victim with an “edged weapon.”

The suspect was was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder domestic violence.

The investigation remains ongoing.
