TACOMA, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a 42-year-old man was shot and died Thursday night in Tacoma.
Police were called just before 7 p.m. to a house in the 7600 block of South J Street and were told the man was hit and was not breathing.
Officers found the man unresponsive inside the house and pronounced him dead at the scene.
It is unknown what led to the shooting or if a suspect or suspects were taken into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing.
