Dave Chappelle announces New Year’s Eve show at Climate Pledge Arena

SEATTLE — Comedian Dave Chappelle announced Friday a New Year’s Eve show at the Climate Pledge Arena.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Dec. 6 at 12 p.m. at ticketmaster.com.

Masks will be required at all times while inside the Arena.

Additionally, no cellphones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at the show.

Fans who bring phones and smartwatches to the show will be asked to secure them in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show.

Guests will maintain access to their Yondr pouch throughout the show and can access their phones at various Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby.

Any fans caught using their phones in the venue will be immediately ejected from the show.

Chappelle was the winner of the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, five Emmy awards and a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album three years in a row.
