KING COUNTY, Wash. — Fire damaged a home Thursday evening in Federal Way.
Chopper 7 flew over the scene as smoke was billowing in the air.
South King Fire crews responded after 4 p.m. to the 2000 block of South 312th Street.
Fire officials said crews found a grow operation inside the home but wasn't sure if it was legal. They said that part of the case was turned over to the police.
In an initial investigation, crews determined the fire was caused by a space heater, officials said.
No one was at home at the time.
