Crash on SR 9 sends pregnant woman to hospital

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A crash Saturday on State Route 9 at 176th Street Southeast in Snohomish County, north of Maltby, resulted in a pregnant woman being sent to the hospital, Washington State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman said.

The crash happened after 10 p.m. and blocked all lanes.

A car was T-boned by another car but it is not known what led to the crash.

The pregnant woman was alert and talking and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a head injury, Axtman said.

Troopers said the pregnant woman was not driving.

The crash is under investigation.
