KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — A 49-year-old Bremerton man suspected in a 2015 hit-and-run, killing 64-year-old Christopher Lukkasson, of Port Orchard, was arrested Thursday afternoon, Washington State Patrol said.
Lukkasson was struck in the 4800 block of Victory Drive Southwest in Port Orchard on Oct. 14 and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with injuries to her head and torso, but died the next day.
Investigators said they went to the home of the driver suspected in the hit-and-run after receiving a tip from a Kitsap County Jail inmate who said he was in the car at the time of the incident.
