Bothell school closed for deep disinfecting after parent tests positive for coronavirus

BOTHELL, Wash. — A parent who volunteered at an elementary school in Bothell earlier this week tested positive for coronavirus, school district officials said.

The Northshore School District said the Woodmoor Elementary parent was at the Art Walk event Friday and volunteered in the classroom Monday.

According to district officials, the parent was diagnosed with a different illness and was hospitalized in late February. The parent was tested for coronavirus Tuesday.

The school will be closed Thursday for deep disinfecting.
