BOTHELL, Wash. — Deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office say a 42-year-old Bothell man was arrested Thursday for failing to register as a sex offender.
The man also had a warrant from the Department of Corrections, deputies said.
During their investigation, deputies said they learned the man was in a home located about one mile west of the University of Washington Bothell campus.
Early Thursday morning, deputies said they saw the man arrive at the home in his car.
During a previous encounter, deputies said the man tried to run away by jumping out of a second story window so additional units were at the scene.
The man walked outside his driveway at 11 a.m. and was taken into custody without incident, deputies said.
He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
