SEATTLE — A man’s body was recovered Saturday from the Lake Washington Ship Canal in Ballard and police are investigating.
Firefighters and the Seattle Police Harbor Patrol were called after 8:30 p.m. near Shilshole Avenue Northwest and 15th Avenue Northwest for a report of a deceased person in the water.
Police did not say how long the man was in the water.
Investigators said they will work with the medical examiner to determine the man’s cause of death.
