BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Western Washington University police are investigating after a body was found Thursday near a residence hall.
University police said they got a call about 1:58 p.m. from someone who found a man’s body in a wooded area northeast of Buchanan Towers residence hall. He was reportedly in his 20s.
The man was found between a residence hall parking lot and a farm, police said.
Police said it is not known yet if the man is a student but there were no signs of foul play.
The Whatcom County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
