Another emergency drill was performed in Nov. 2015.

SEATTLE — During the evening rush hour Wednesday, it will look like a disaster is happening in Seattle’s Elliott Bay.

The King County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Section is hosting a multi-agency maritime training drill.

The scenario will involve an active shooter and hostage situation on a ferry or vessel in Puget Sound.

Helicopters will be in the sky above Terminal 5 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The exercise will be conducted near Harbor Island and will also include the Seattle Police Department, Washington State Patrol, F.B.I., U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protections and King County Medic One.
