Armed robbery suspect goes on crime spree through Olympia, Lacey

LACEY, Wash. — Surveillance video captured an armed robbery suspect hop over the counter and point a handgun in workers' faces at Heavenly Donuts in Lacey.

The video gives detectives a good look at the suspect they believe robbed four Thurston County businesses in a week.

"It was a little bit scary,” said Dora Alvarenga, Heavenly Donuts manager.

The suspect held two cashiers at gunpoint Sunday night. He demanded cash from the register, stuffed bills in a bag and ran out.

"I just almost started about to cry because the lady, she was little bit scared,” said Alvarenga.

Lacey police said the same suspect robbed Luxe Spa in Hawks Prairie Thursday evening.

In both cases, the man wore a blue face mask and a dark hoodie with ‘ENYCE’ written across the front.

"We have every reason to believe that they are the same person, same stature as well, he's about 5'6", slim build, wearing the exact same outfit,” said Det. Jon Mason, Lacey Police Department.

Olympia police said the same suspect, wearing the same clothing, also robbed Twister Donuts March 1. He stole cash from the till and the safe.

Early Wednesday morning, he tried robbing Silvers Saloon.

Gregory Bellamy was behind the bar when the suspect walked into the restaurant shouting, with his gun drawn.

"I think the gun was bigger than he was. All I saw was the gun and a little guy,” said Bellamy.

Detectives said the man may also be connected to a robbery in Seattle.

"Everybody just needs to look out and know that this guy is going around and he's watching places and he's casing places,” said Anne Parker, Silvers Saloon general manager.

Detectives want to catch the suspect before he commits any more crimes.

"He's a desperate, crazy criminal who's going to mess up. It's not a matter of if, it's when,” said Bellamy.

Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call the Olympia Police Department or the Lacey Police Department.
