Armed felon arrested after pulling gun during argument in Belltown

SEATTLE — Bike patrol officers with the Seattle Police Department arrested an armed felon on Thursday after he pulled a gun on a man during an argument in the Belltown neighborhood.

Police said a group of three men were arguing at 3rd Ave. and Bell Street around 12:45 a.m. when they saw a 29-year-old man pull a revolver out of his pocket and point it at another man.

The 29-year-old man then left the scene, and was quickly arrested by police.

"Officers learned the 29-year-old man was a convicted felon, unable to legally possess firearms. Police booked him into the King County Jail for unlawful possession of a firearm and several warrants," Seattle Police said in a blotter post.
