RICHLAND, Wash. — An Amber Alert issued out of Richland for a 13-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother has been canceled after both children were found safe.
The Richland Police Department says that on Tuesday around 8:40 p.m., the girl took her parents’ SUV without permission and left her home on Farrell Lane in Richland with her autistic brother.
The Amber Alert was canceled at 10:14 a.m. after the children were found.
Richland police have not released further details.
