Amazon updated its return to work guidance this week, saying it expects most U.S. corporate workers will be back in the office by early fall.
The company said it wants to return to “an office-centric culture as our baseline,” and that is allows workers to “invent, collaborate, and learn together most effectively.”
The timelines for returning to work will vary depending on local infection and vaccination rates. A memo also said as summer approaches, the company will develop country-specific plans.
Currently about 10% of corporate employees work in the office.
