SEATTLE — Two men were indicted in federal court in Seattle on charges that they were trafficking fentanyl disguised as fake oxycodone pills in three Washington state counties.
U.S. Attorney Annette Hayes says Bradley Woolard was charged Friday with five counts of drug distribution and illegal firearms possession. Hayes says they were selling the drugs in Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties.
Hayes says Griffin Thompson was charged with two counts - conspiracy and possession of fentanyl with intent to sell.
Woolard was arrested Thursday night and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Thompson was arrested on September 1 as he attempted to cross into Mexico. He remains in custody in San Diego and will likely appear in federal court later this month.
No lawyer is listed for the men on the federal court website.
