The victim was brought to the car and positively identified the suspects, who were taken into custody and transported to the police station.
During interviews, police determined that the initial purchase involved vaping products and not a vehicle as originally reported. Police located evidence to corroborate the statements but couldn’t find the victim’s purse.
A 17-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were also interviewed, but later released.
The investigation is ongoing.
