19-year-old taken to hospital after being stabbed by ex-girlfriend, police say

LAKE FOREST PARK, Wash. — A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in Lake Forest Park early Saturday, police said.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a home in the 4700 block of NE 192nd Place. Officers found a 19-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds in his chest.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with multiple stab wounds and is in critical condition.

Police arrested the suspect, the victim's 19-year-old ex-girlfriend. An initial investigation indicates that the suspect broke in through a sliding door and "ambushed" the victim in his bedroom, according to a blotter post.

The victim's parents then called 911.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail on charges of first-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
