1 injured in Everett stabbing

EVERETT, Wash. — A man is recovering after being stabbed early Saturday morning in Everett.

Police said at about 1:30 a.m. a driver noticed the man on the street and called 911.

Police initially thought the man had been struck by a vehicle but discovered he had been stabbed, officials said.

The victim was taken to Providence Medical Center in serious condition.

Police said no one witnessed the stabbing that they are aware of, and no attackers have been identified.

The stabbing is under investigation.
