One person was injured and another is in custody after a shooting Saturday night that resulted in a car crashing into a restaurant in downtown Seattle.
Police received 911 calls at 11 p.m. about shots fired from a moving car at 7th Avenue and Pike Street that soon after crashed into a restaurant at 7th Avenue and Union Street.
Witnesses said that someone got out of the vehicle and began firing at a group of people in the street, hitting one man in his legs.
Seattle Fire medics brought the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
One man from the vehicle from which the shots were fired was detained, arrested and booked into jail. Two guns were recovered.
Police believe the other suspects who were in the vehicle fled before officers arrived. Police are continuing to investigate.
